A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Mindy Anderson. I was a professional pet sitter for 20 years and I have also studied animal behavior extensively. I've drawn on my experience working with animals and realized that these same methods can be used with human behavior.
As a believer in positive reinforcement training, I know that when you see a behavior you don't like or want in your pet, that behavior can most often be modified by using rewards. Most dogs (& cats, too, by the way) will do pretty much anything for a treat so treats can be a useful tool in changing their behavior. For humans, the "treat"/reward will be whatever works best for that person (ie, massage, fun with friends, bottle of bubbly, dinner out - whatever works!)
My personal philosophy is that if everyone treated themselves the way they treat their pet/kiddo/bestie, people would be much happier in general. And that can make a HUGE difference in the world!

37 DAY "SMILE" CHALLENGE
This challenge was created to help you modify any behaviors you want to leave behind and replace with behaviors that you want to take on. AND, more importantly, having fun while you do it.
Studies say that 21 days make a habit...which means that 37 days will really reinforce that habit / behavior! Writing down your "commands" each day is also a terrific reminder and can reinforce that habit / behavior.
